Skill Level: MODERATE — 20–30 minutes. Unplug the washer before beginning. Remove the door boot seal retaining ring to access the door lock assembly mounted inside the front panel. Disconnect the wiring harness from the lock, remove the mounting screws, and swap in the new 6601ER1004C. Reconnect the harness, reseat the boot seal retaining ring, restore power, and test the door latch and a full cycle to confirm operation.
