Skill Level: Moderate — 20–30 minutes. Disconnect power at the breaker before beginning — this switch carries line voltage. Remove the control knob and unscrew the switch from the control panel; photograph the wire terminals before disconnecting. Transfer wires one at a time to the new switch matching terminal positions exactly. Incorrect wiring will cause the burner to run at full power continuously — double-check before restoring power.
