Whirlpool Microwave Magnetron W11652048, Replaces W11334527

Is This the Right Part?

✅ Cross Reference Information

Common Symptoms

• Weak or slow heating
• Uneven heating
• No heating at all
• Unusual humming associated with a no-heat condition

Check Before Replacing

• Place one microwave-safe cup of cold water in the cavity and run the oven for about 2 minutes at full power; verify whether the water heats. This is only a functional check and does not identify the failed component.
• Confirm the door closes completely and that the control is set correctly before attributing a no-heat condition to the magnetron.
• For qualified service personnel only: disconnect power before inspection and do not access the magnetron or high-voltage circuit unless the high-voltage capacitor has been properly discharged. Check for loose or damaged connections and inspect the related high-voltage components before replacement.

Installation Notes

• Disconnect electrical power before service.
• Microwave high-voltage components can remain hazardous even after the appliance is unplugged; capacitor-discharge and internal high-voltage work should be performed only by qualified personnel.
• Before replacement, inspect the magnetron connections and associated high-voltage components so the magnetron is not replaced without checking other possible causes.
• After installation, verify operation using a microwave-safe water load rather than operating the oven empty.
