The WH49X25375 is a genuine OEM drive motor for compatible GE and Hotpoint top-load washing machines. The drive motor powers both the agitation and spin functions of the washer. When it fails, the washer may fill and drain normally but will not agitate or spin, leaving clothes soaking wet at the end of the cycle.
Symptoms that indicate you need this part: washer won’t spin or agitate, loud grinding or humming noise during the cycle, washer stops mid-cycle, or motor runs but drum doesn’t move. This part directly replaces CR-138VM-BA01.
