Water leaking from the door of your LG dishwasher is almost always caused by a degraded or cracked door gasket. In most LG and Kenmore dishwashers, the door seal runs the full perimeter of the tub opening — when it compresses, tears, or pulls away from the channel, water escapes around the door frame with every wash cycle. When it fails, you get water damage to flooring, cabinet bases, and subfloor, and the leak worsens progressively with each cycle. ⚡ One of the most common wear items in LG-built dishwashers after 4–6 years of use. Part 3920DD3005F is the genuine OEM LG door seal that restores a full perimeter watertight seal, eliminating door leaks immediately after installation.

✔ If these symptoms match, the door seal is the most likely failed component in the system.
✔ In most cases, replacing this door seal restores a fully watertight perimeter seal immediately after installation.
Skill Level: Easy — 20–30 minutes, no special tools required. Disconnect power before servicing. Open the dishwasher door fully and carefully pull the existing gasket out of the tub channel, working around the full perimeter. Starting at the top centre, press the new 3920DD3005F gasket firmly into the channel, working outward to each side and down to the bottom corners. Ensure the gasket seats fully with no gaps or lifted sections. Close the door and run a short cycle to confirm the seal is watertight before returning to normal use.
