Check Before Replacing
- Confirm the range is disconnected from power before inspection or replacement.
- If another surface element of the same size is available, compare operation to help distinguish an element problem from a switch problem.
- Do not rely on the switch alone for diagnosis because other range components can cause similar symptoms.
Pro Tip
Verify the complete appliance model number before ordering; this switch is associated with dual-element applications and should not be substituted solely by appearance.
