Step-by-Step Installation

1. 
   Unplug the Washer
   
   Always disconnect the washer from the power supply before working on electrical or water components.
   
2. 
   Turn Off Water Supply
   
   Shut off the cold water supply to prevent leaks.
   
3. 
   Access the Old Valve
   
   
   Pull the washer away from the wall.
   
   
   Remove the back panel using a screwdriver to expose the water inlet valves.
   
   
   
4. 
   Disconnect Water Hoses
   
   
   Use an adjustable wrench or pliers to loosen the fittings.
   
   
   Keep a towel handy to catch residual water.
   
   
   
5. 
   Disconnect Electrical Connectors
   
   
   Carefully unplug the electrical wires from the old valve.
   
   
   Note their positions to connect correctly to the new valve.

   Remove the Old Valve
   
   
   Unscrew any mounting screws holding the valve in place.
   
   
   Pull the old valve out gently.
   
   
   
7. 
   Install the New DC62-30312J Valve
   
   
   Position the new valve in the same orientation as the old one.
   
   
   Secure with mounting screws.
   
   
   Reconnect the water hoses and electrical connectors, ensuring a snug fit.
   
   
   
8. 
   Reattach the Back Panel
   
   
   Screw the panel back in place securely.
   
   
   
9. 
   Turn On Water Supply & Check for Leaks
   
   
   Slowly turn on the cold water supply.
   
   
   Inspect all connections for leaks; tighten if necessary.
   
   
   
10. 
    Plug in Washer & Test
    
    
    Plug the washer back in and run a short cycle.
    
    
    Ensure water fills properly and there are no leaks.
