LG Refrigerator PTC Thermistor Assembly EBG60663230, Replaces EBG60663213

Is This the Right Part?

✅ Cross Reference Information

Common Symptoms

• Repeated clicking or humming followed by compressor shutdown
• Refrigerator or freezer is too warm
• Compressor does not run or starts intermittently
• Cooling is inconsistent because the compressor fails to start reliably
• Burnt odor from the compressor-start area

Check Before Replacing

• Unplug the refrigerator and allow the compressor-start area to cool before inspection.
• Check the assembly and nearby wiring for visible heat damage, loose connections, or a burnt odor.
• With the appliance unplugged, a qualified person may check continuity between the start-device terminal sockets according to the appliance service documentation; an open reading can indicate a defective start device, but does not by itself prove the compressor is good or bad.
• If the refrigerator repeatedly clicks, confirm that the compressor is receiving the correct start-device connection before condemning the compressor.

• The assembly attaches to the compressor-start connection; match the replacement part and terminal orientation to the original assembly.
• Reconnect the included wiring harness and ground connection exactly as originally installed.
• Use appropriate hand protection when working around the compressor compartment.
• If the compressor or sealed-system wiring is damaged, stop and obtain qualified appliance service.
