Common Symptoms
- Knob is cracked, broken, or missing
- Knob will not turn or select a burner setting
- Knob will not properly engage the control shaft
Check Before Replacing
- With the appliance controls off, inspect the knob for cracks or a damaged shaft opening.
- Compare the knob’s shaft interface and approximate dimensions with the existing knob before ordering.
- If the knob turns but the burner does not respond, inspect the control switch or valve rather than assuming the knob is the cause.
Pro Tip
Verify the complete appliance model number before ordering because the same brand may use different knob designs.
