If your dryer has no heat and you’ve already replaced the thermal fuse, the thermostat is the next part to test — a faulty thermostat that allowed overtemperature will blow the new fuse again within days if not replaced at the same time. Test the thermostat for continuity with a multimeter: it should read closed (continuity) at room temperature. An open reading confirms failure. Also inspect and clean the exhaust vent run before reassembling — a blocked vent is the root cause of most thermostat and thermal fuse failures on LG dryers.
