When your Frigidaire refrigerator's fresh food section won't hold the right temperature — running too warm, too cold, or cycling erratically — a failed NTC thermistor is the most common cause. In most Frigidaire and Electrolux refrigerators, the fresh food thermistor continuously monitors compartment temperature and sends that signal to the main control board. When it fails or drifts out of spec, the control board receives incorrect readings and can't regulate the cooling cycle properly. ⚡ Common failure point in Frigidaire-built refrigerators. Part 5303918775 is the genuine OEM NTC thermistor that restores accurate temperature sensing and stable cooling performance.

✔ If these symptoms match, this is the most likely failed component in the system.
✔ In most cases, replacing this thermistor restores stable temperature control immediately.
Skill Level: Easy — 15 to 20 minutes. Disconnect power before servicing. Locate the thermistor on the back wall or ceiling of the fresh food compartment — it is typically clipped into a bracket and connected by a 2-wire harness. Unclip the old sensor, disconnect the harness, connect the new thermistor, and clip it into place. Restore power and monitor temperature over the next 2–4 hours to confirm stable readings.
