A triple radiant element that won't heat, heats only partially, or produces uneven temperatures across the large burner zone is one of the most disruptive LG range failures. In most LG smooth-top electric ranges, this is caused by a failed triple radiant surface element. When it fails, the large burner zone stops producing heat entirely or delivers inconsistent temperatures that make cooking unreliable. ⚡ High-wear component in LG LRE, LSE, LTE, and LSSE series electric ranges. Part MEE64286301 is the genuine OEM replacement that restores full, even triple-zone radiant heat with an exact factory fit.

✔ If these symptoms match, this is the most likely failed component in the system.
✔ In most cases, replacing this triple radiant element restores full, even heat across all three zones immediately.
Skill Level: MODERATE — 30–45 minutes. Disconnect power at the breaker before beginning — this element operates at 240V. Remove the cooktop glass or surface access panel, disconnect the wiring harness from the failed element, and lift out the old assembly. Position the new MEE64286301 in the mounting bracket, reconnect the harness, and restore power to test all three heat zones before reassembling. Do not touch the element surface with bare hands — skin oils cause hot spots and premature failure.
