  1. Disconnect power – Unplug the range or turn off the breaker.
  2. Shut off gas supply – Turn the gas valve behind the range to the OFF position.
  3. Allow oven to cool – Make sure the oven is completely cool before starting.
  4. Remove oven racks – Take out all racks for clear access.
  5. Remove the oven bottom panel – Lift out or unscrew the metal panel covering the bake burner.
  6. Locate the bake burner – Find the burner tube assembly at the bottom of the oven cavity.
  7. Disconnect the burner – Remove the screws or clips securing the burner to the oven floor and back wall.
  8. Disconnect the orifice fitting – Carefully disconnect the burner from the gas orifice at the back of the oven (note the orientation).
  9. Remove old burner – Lift the burner out of the oven cavity.
  10. Inspect the orifice – Check the gas orifice for debris or blockage; clean if necessary.
  11. Install new burner – Position the new PB050012 burner and connect it to the gas orifice fitting.
  12. Secure the burner – Reattach screws or clips to hold the burner in place.
  13. Reinstall oven bottom panel – Place the panel back over the burner.
  14. Reinstall oven racks – Return all racks to the oven.
  15. Turn on gas supply – Open the gas valve.
  16. Restore power and test – Set oven to BAKE at 350°F; burner should ignite within 60–90 seconds with steady blue flames.
