Is This the Right Part?

✅ Cross Reference Information

Common Symptoms

• Surface burner will not shut off
• Surface burner will not light
• Gas odor associated with a burner-control problem
• Surface burner does not heat properly

Check Before Replacing

• With the appliance controls off, verify whether the affected burner continues receiving gas; do not disassemble the gas system.
• If safe and accessible, check whether the valve stem moves normally when the control knob is removed; a stem that will not rotate or a burner that remains on in the off position can indicate a defective valve.
• Confirm the appliance model and burner position before ordering because this is the 15K valve, not the separately listed 9.5K valve.
