Skill Level: Easy — 10–20 minutes. Unplug the refrigerator before servicing. Access the compressor by removing the rear access panel at the bottom back of the unit. The start capacitor clips onto the compressor start relay — pull the relay assembly off the compressor start pin, remove the old capacitor from the relay, snap the new WG03A02441 into position, reinstall the relay assembly onto the compressor, replace the access panel, and restore power. Run the refrigerator for 30–60 minutes to confirm the compressor starts and cooling resumes.
