Remove the front panel and top panel to access the drum assembly; disconnect the shock absorber mounting pins at the base of the drum and the tub frame, slide the new shock into position, and secure both pins firmly. Always replace shocks in pairs and run a spin-only test cycle before reassembling panels to confirm vibration is eliminated.
