- Recover refrigerant — Fully recover all refrigerant before disconnecting any lines.
- Cut and prepare tubing — Cut the refrigerant line cleanly and deburr the end. The tube must be round, clean, and free of burrs for the Lokring to seal properly.
- Slide Lokring onto tubing — Position the WG03A03126 Lokring over the tube end before inserting into the fitting.
- Insert tube to full depth — Push the tube into the Lokring body to the full insertion depth mark. Do not under-insert.
- Press with Lokring tool — Use the correct Lokring press jaw for 8.5MM fittings. Press until the tool clicks or bottoms out. Inspect the pressed ring for uniform compression.
